Last year’s winners AstraZeneca have continued to positively impact upon the workplace to make it more LGBTQ+ inclusive. The success of their lunch with leaders programme has continued, AZPride has worked with HR and D&I to roll out a Transitioning at Work policy., and their Pharmaceutical Technology and Development (PT&D) Pride group has further built allyship internally and externally, including a collaborative event with the RSC focused on bisexuality.
Bentley Motors have been recognised this year for their clear vision to become the most diverse luxury car manufacturer with a culture of belonging. Their Beyond100 strategy showcased the ways in which D&I has become part of everything that they do, embedded within the whole business. To support this their first colleague network was launched - BeProud - and empowered to make the changes in the business that they wanted to see. Their HR department has introduced a series of articles featuring LGBTQ+ colleagues who have shared their personal stories from both inside and outside the workplace to educate others and encourage more active allyship in their business.

SAGE
Sage have been shortlisted for their steadfast dedication to LGBTQ+ inclusion and the support given to their apprentices, interns and graduates. The ways in which LGBTQ+ inclusive strategies are embedded into their student recruitment process to ensure inclusive representation, particularly by assessment centre. Credit was attributed to their early career hires for the ways they engage with, and add diversity to Sage’s Pride and Gender Alliance networks. Feedback mechanisms are used by them to continually learn, develop and implement improvements that continue to foster a culture of inclusivity.
