Keith’s (he/him) role on the AZPride Leadership team Keith has gone above and beyond to promote a sense of community with LGBTQIA+ people is being celebrated on this shortlist, in the ways he has created development and networking opportunities within that community, and driven inclusive leadership from the top down to educate LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies. This has included creating AZ Pride’s ‘Lunch with Leaders’ programme which has given AstraZeneca’s leaders, including himself, a forum to share their reflections and advice from their own careers, whilst also giving those early in their careers opportunity to ask questions directly to business leaders. He has also co-developed a mentoring programme for early career LGBTQ+ colleagues.

Leah (she/her) has been recognised for the role she has played in delivering pivotal changes for AstraZeneca’s PT&D Pride group. Her passion, dedication and enthusiasm for events and resource creation has positioned her as a key voice, specifically for one of the key events for 2024 which focused on asexuality and aromanticity. Leah has taken on a key lead role in event delivery to ensure consistency and efficiency in ways of working by incorporating external speakers to deliver advice and training, as well as encouraging collaboration between employee resource groups to reach wider audiences, ensuring that all aspects of the community are represented appropriately., with a particular focus on intersectionality between groups on topics such as mental health awareness and neurodiversity.
