    UAL continues to prioritise and promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity on campus and the wider community. This has included - the ‘BIG Queer Bus Tour’ during LGBT History Month emphasising that UAL does not tolerate hate or ignorance, which included queer activities, information and participation from local and international LGBTQ+ organisations; the staff network and Halls Life teams’ five-week course for students the ‘Art of Drag Transformation’; launching their Gender Affirming Care Support fund and; the ‘Art of Trans Joy’ campaign in partnership with Trans In The City, Gallagher Re and the British LGBTQ+ Awards.

    LGBTQ+ inclusion on campus at Westminster caters for its growing membership of their ‘Q+ Colleague Network’ - the co-chairs of which also sit on the university’s EDI Committee. Activities in the last year have included - the ‘Open MiQ’ quarterly social event uniting students, staff and alumni with live performances and drag performances; panels and talks including the impacts of pink-washing and how the university builds meaningful relationships with queer communities; partnering with local community organisations including art exhibitions and an annual LGBTQ+ themed short film festival and; an inclusive careers programme for students including hosting National Student Pride.
